Businessman slaughtered in Feni

Police said Kamal Uddin, 40, a pharmacy owner and son of late Habibur Rahman hailed from Elashpur village, six kilometer away from Feni town.

Family sources said some unidentified people called Kamal out of his residence at abut 10 pm. In the morning, local people found Kamal's body near a graveyard at Elashpur.

Police later recovered the body and sent it to Feni Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Jobeda Khanam, wife of the victim, filed a case with Feni sadar police.

Traders of Shaheed Shahidullah Kaisar Road observed a two-hour token strike yesterday to protest the murder and demanded an immediate arrest of the culprits.

No one was arrested till filing of this report last night.
