Rahul Gandhi to contest polls

Rahul Gandhi will contest in the Amethi parliamentary seat, which is currently held by his mother Sonia Gandhi who heads the main opposition Congress, senior party leader Ambica Soni told a news conference.

Sonia Gandhi will shift her seat to Rae Bareilly, another traditional seat of the country's illustrious political family, Soni said.
