CU JCD begins fast-unto-death

JCD leaders and activists started their programme on the premises of the VC office at 12.00 noon. They alleged that the VC was involved in anomalies in appointment of teachers and staffs. He also patronises the Jamaat-Shibir activists, they said.

To settle the issue, the university authorities sat in a meeting with the striking leaders in the evening. The meeting was going on till filing of this report at 7:35pm yesterday.
