PCJ calls strike at RU today
Pragatishil Chhatra Jote (PCJ) today enforces a strike at Rajshahi University (RU) to protest an attack by Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) on a leftist student leader Saturday.
The ICS cadres beat up Bangladesh Chhatra Union's RU unit President SM Chandan in front of Juberi Bhaban on the campus and left his both knees and elbows smashed.
The PCJ yesterday staged demonstration on the campus and announced the strike at a rally in front of the Central Library.
