MOU signed with Indian PR Society

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Bangladesh Public Relations Association (BPRA) and Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in Kolkata recently, says a press release.

The MOU was signed on the occasion of 26 th All India Public Relations Conference held in Kolkata from 17 to 19 December. BPRA President Mostafa-E-Jamil and PRSI President Sameer Goswami signed the MOU on behalf of their organisations. Kolkata Mayor Subrata Mukherjee was present as chief guest at the signing ceremony.

The purpose of the MOU is to encourage mutual cooperation on public relations and mass communication art and craft, as well as skill and strategy. Under the MOU guidelines, BPRA and PRSI will share common ground in purpose, intent, strategies and vision to promote excellence in public relations in their respective countries. The two organisations will also collaborate on joint training and education projects and mutually utilise each others expertise.

Earlier, Subrata Mukherjee inaugurated the conference at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Kolkata lighting a ceremonial lamp. The three-day conference began with a note-"Reinventing PR-Roadmap to success."

A nine-member delegation led by BPRA President Mostafa-E-Jamil attended the conference.

Chief Minister of West Bengal Buddhadeb Battacharjee chaired the concluding session of the conference.
