Quaiyum shifted to Moulvibazar jail on security reason
AKM Abdul Quaiyum, the suspected mastermind of the killing of former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria, was shifted to the Moulvibazar jail from Habiganj Jail on security ground, sources said.
Another accused Zainal Abedin Momin was shifted to the Sylhet jail for the same reason.
Other accused Ayaat Ali, Shahed Ali, Zoinal Abedin Jalal, Selim Ahmed, Zamir Ali and Tajul Islam are in the Habiganj jail.
They will also be shifted to different jails soon.
Meanwhile, the authorities sent a letter to the home ministry to make Momin as an approver.
Momin, who believed to have hurled grenades at the rally, was charge-sheeted in two cases - one for killing Kibria along with his four associates and another for explosion charges.
