Bhabna to start shooting for Nurul Alam Atique’s ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’

Shooting of Nurul Alam Atique's film Lal Moroger Jhuti, starring Ashna Habib Bhabna in the lead role, resumed today (October 1), in Gouripur, Mymensingh.

The project received a grant from the government in 2015. Half of the film was shot in March 2016, but the shooting was brought to a halt due to unavoidable circumstances.

Nurul Alam Atique is also the script and screenplay writer of the project. He informed The Daily Star that the film is set in 1971. However, it is not a story of the Liberation War.

Bhabna will start shooting for the film from October 4. The actor said that the character she plays is very challenging.

"We are shooting the last portions of the film," says Atique. "We are working in full swing to complete it as soon as possible. We are expecting to release Lal Moroger Jhuti on Victory Day (December 16)."

Matia Banu Suku's Pandulipi Karkhana is co producing the film, which also features Jyotika Jyoti, Ahmed Rubel, Laila Hasan, Ashish Khondker and Doyel among others.
