Tazreena Sajjad is Assistant Professor of Migration Politics in the Department of Peace, Human Rights and Cultural Relations (PHRCR) at American University’s School of International Service (SIS) in Washington, DC. A critical international relations scholar, her research examines how contemporary states govern mobility through the intertwined politics of race, humanitarianism, security, and borders.
