Bangladesh has showcased its growing apparel and textile manufacturing capabilities at the global sourcing fair SOURCING at MAGIC 2026, with the country’s pavilion drawing interest from international buyers and industry stakeholders.

The three-day exhibition was held from August 10 to 12 at the Las Vegas Trade Center in Nevada, bringing together apparel manufacturers, textile and fabric suppliers, buyers, brands and designers from across the globe.

With financial support from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and coordination by the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles, 20 Bangladeshi apparel and textile companies participated in the event through 21 booths.

The fair featured exhibitors from 24 countries, including Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and the United States, according to the EPB.

More than 800 booths were set up, attracting around 8,500 visitors from 70 countries during the three-day event. More than 73 percent of the visitors were high-level buyers and industry policymakers, according to organisers.

The Bangladesh pavilion showcased a broad range of products, including knitwear, woven garments, casualwear, cotton shirts, premium denim, specialised washed products and formalwear.

Industry stakeholders said Bangladesh's participation demonstrated the country's ability to respond to changing sourcing requirements in the global fashion industry.
