International Kebab Festival begins at The Westin Dhaka
The Westin Dhaka, in partnership with Prime Bank PLC, has organised the “International Kebab Festival 2026”, offering guests an extensive selection of kebabs inspired by culinary traditions from around the world.
The festival began on Wednesday and will continue until October 3 at Seasonal Tastes, located on Level 2 of The Westin Dhaka in Gulshan-2, according to a press release.
Lalla Bouthaina El Kerdoudi El Koulali, the Moroccan ambassador to Bangladesh, inaugurated the festival as the chief guest.
Led by Swapan Rozario, executive chef of the hotel, and its culinary team, the festival features a wide range of kebabs showcasing different flavours, grilling techniques and culinary traditions.
The menu includes regional favourites such as spicy Dhakaiya sutli kebab, beef Bihari kebab, Lahori seekh kebab, Hyderabadi seekh kebab, fish hariyali kebab and peri peri chicken kebab.
The charcoal-grilled selection features charcoal lobster kebab, charcoal naga beef kebab, tandoori crab kebab and rib set kebab, highlighting the aroma and character of live-fire cooking.
The international selection includes Afghan Kabuli lamb kebab, Afghan lamb chop kebab, Greek chicken souvlaki and Brazilian espetinho, bringing together diverse culinary traditions in one dining experience.
The festival is available exclusively for dinner and is priced at Tk 9,450 net per person. Guests can enjoy B1G3, B1G2 and B1G1 offers through Prime Bank PLC and other partner banks, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Guests will also have the opportunity to win Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka couple air tickets, courtesy of travel partner FirstTrip.
Prime Bank PLC is the prime partner, while FirstTrip is the travel partner for the festival.
Rashed Al-Mail Al-Zaabi, director of the Foreign Aid Office at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates; Shaila Abedin, head of liability and women banking at Prime Bank PLC; Md Shakawath Hossain, chief executive officer of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC; Gary Farstad, general manager; and Mamunur Rahman Shumon, director of sales and marketing at The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka, were also present.
