Electro Mart CEO wins Asia CEO excellence award

Md Nurul Afser, chief executive officer and deputy managing director of Electro Mart Group, has won the “Asia Impactful & Influential CEO of the Year 2026” award at the “Asia Prestige 50 Under 50 CEO Excellence Award 2026”.

He received the recognition for his outstanding contribution to the economy through the production, marketing, and development of energy-efficient and eco-friendly electronics products.

Hem Vanndy, Cambodia’s minister of industry, science, technology and innovation, presented the award to Md Nurul Afser at the ceremony held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh recently, according to a press release.

The gala award programme recognised 50 visionary business leaders under the age of 50 from 28 countries this year.

The award is a testament to his visionary leadership, strategic impact, and continuous commitment to excellence. His professional journey and achievements have set a remarkable example of leadership and innovation in Bangladesh’s electronics and home appliance industry.

Md Nurul Afser thanked his well-wishers, patrons, and consumers for the recognition.

“We are happy and honoured to receive this award,” he said.

“This recognition will motivate us to be more responsible. We will work together to advance Bangladesh’s electronics and home appliance sector in the future,” he added.

With more than 33 years of experience, Nurul Afser has made significant contributions to Electro Mart Group and Bangladesh’s electronics industry through innovation and leadership.

Under his leadership, Electro Mart Group has strengthened its position in the industry by fostering a participatory workplace, diversifying its product portfolio, expanding its market, conducting regular research, developing new products, and manufacturing global electronics brands such as Konka, Gree, and Haiko.

Heang Vuthea, president of the Association of Global Entrepreneur, among others, was also present.
