Dekko ISHO group invests in Eco Via
One of the leading Bangladeshi conglomerates, Dekko ISHO Group has signed a monetary and strategic capital investment agreement with Eco Via, a bioplastic initiative with its own innovation in compostable polymer, led by three young entrepreneurs from Dhaka, Bangladesh. The ceremony took place in Dekko ISHO’s corporate office and was attended by Mr Prottoy Hossain, Director of Dekko ISHO Group, and the co-founders of Eco Via, Mr Rashik Hassan, Mr Riasat Zaman, and Mr Ashfaqul Azam.

Generation17 empowers young global leaders to use tech to create new possibilities
It’s already 2021, and countries worldwide, including Bangladesh, have less than 9 years to attain the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by 2030 and build a better future. Everyone must accelerate their progress to achieving all these SDGs (also known as Global Goals) by the targeted time. Thus, in 2019, Samsung Electronics Company Limited partnered with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to begin an initiative to achieve the SDGs faster – Generation17.

Climate change is affecting people's lives all over the world. Our weather is becoming hotter day by day. This World Environment Day, washing powder brand Surf Excel has come forward to inspire the kids to do something positive for the environment, which started with initiatives like planting trees. On 5th June Saturday, the brand Unilever announced this initiative by going live on Facebook. Alongside Unilever, next-generation organisation Footsteps was also present with Surf Excel.
Nature is the giver of life and the nurturer of it. But we pollute this environment in various ways continuously. The rapid rate of pollution worldwide today is dangerous. The primary reasons behind pollution are thoughtless deforestation and unplanned city development. If we aren't careful now, this situation will create major upheaval for the country in the coming years.

Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) will host a four-day-long Youth Leadership Summit on August 4-7, 2021. "In 2021, Bangladesh celebrates the golden jubilee of independence and our achievements in the last 50 years.
