Anwar Alam passes away

Senior journalist Anwar Alam Fatik passed away at his home in Rajshahi’s Baliapukur area on Thursday night.

He was 60. He left behind his wife and a son He suffered a brain stroke on November 27.

Fatik was the news editor of the Rajshahi-based daily Sonali Sangbad, and was a former president of Rajshahi Press Club.

He was buried at Gourhanga graveyard yesterday afternoon.
