Mahmudur Rahman's mother seeks PM's help

Amar Desh Editor Mahmudur Rahman's mother Mahmuda Begum yesterday demanded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's intervention to release her son.

Addressing a press conference at the capital's Jatiya Press Club, organised by Amar Desh Family, she said her son was sick and he lost 10kg. Mahmuda said her son was not involved in any conspiracy regarding the plot to abduct and kill Sajeeb Wazed Joy and claimed that he had been accused in a "false" case. Mahmudur was arrested on April 11, 2013.
