BSF picks up two from Sunamganj border

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up two Bangladeshi nationals from near the zero line on Lawerghar border in Tahirpur upazila under Sunamganj district.

They are Haque Miah, 16, son of Satu Miah of Lawerghar village, and Ali Hossain, 14, son of Abul Kashem of Shantipur village in the upazila.

A Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) official said the two might have mistakenly stepped into the zero line while collecting coal.

BGB Commanding Officer Lt Col Khandokar Golam Mahiuddin said they have sent a letter to their Indian counterparts, demanding return of the two.
