Charge-sheeted upazila vice- chairman suspended

Adamdighi upazila parishad vice-chairman Yunuch Ali has been temporarily suspended as he was charge-sheeted in a sabotage case filed with a Bogra court.

Lutfonnahar, senior assistant secretary of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Ministry, on June 17 signed the order for suspension of the upazila parishad vice-chairman, also upazila unit nayebe ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Contacted on Monday afternoon, Rezaul Karim, Adamdighi upazila nirbahi officer, confirmed the matter.

Yunuch is a charge-sheeted accused in the case for attacking an Awami League  procession in the municipality area, which was brought out marking the Jail Killing Day in November last year, said Moslem Uddin, officer in charge of Adamdighi Police Station.
