Fisherman arrested by BSF

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Bangladeshi citizen near Roghunathpur frontier in Shibganj upazila of the district yesterday. The arrestee is fisherman Nasiruddin, 30, son of Mazharul Islam of Monoharpur village in the upazila. Nasiruddin was catching fish in the Padma River. At one stage, BSF men arrested Nasiruddin when he mistakenly entered the Indian territory, said locals. Later, BSF informed Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) about the matter.
