Myanmar national held with Yaba

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a Myanmar national with 1.5 lakh Yaba tablets in No 1 Sluice Gate area of the Naf River in Teknaf upazila under the district on Tuesday. The arrestee is Md Rahamat Ullah, 20, son of Ameer Ahmed of Dailpara village under Mongdu Police Station in Akyab district of Myanmar. On secret information, the border guards raided the area, searched a boat and arrested Rahamat Ullah with the Yaba. The arrestee was later handed over to Teknaf Police Station, said Major Md Jafarul Haque, acting commander of BGB-42 Battalion.
