Youth held with firearm

Police arrested an alleged criminal with a pistol and two bullets on Chowmuhani-Laxmipur road in Begumganj upazila of the district on Sunday night. The arrestee is Mohiuddin Mahan, 25, son of Abul Khair of the area. Golam Mostafa, officer-in-charge of Begumganj Model Police Station, said a police team raided a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Palowaner Pool area and arrested Mahan with the firearm and bullets.
