Expressing her gratitude, Babita said, “This is the first time I have received such a significant honour in America. I sincerely thank Khan Mohammad Ali for all his efforts, for staying in constant touch with me, and for extending his support throughout. I have been honoured with numerous awards in Bangladesh, including state recognition. However, receiving this award in the United States has brought me a different kind of joy. I believe this honour is not only a recognition of me but also of Bangladesh's film industry as a whole, and of my country. I am truly delighted and proud.”

Khan Mohammad Ali said, “Being able to bring Babita apa to this year's event is, in itself, a tremendous achievement for us. We are deeply grateful to her for accepting our invitation. The entire Ananda Mela family is proud to honour her with this Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Khan Mohammad Ali also said that actress Safa Kabir received an award at the event. Singers Kona and Imran captivated the audience with performances of their popular songs, while celebrity couple Nayeem and Nadia also impressed the crowd with their performance.
