Nemesis celebrates silver jubilee as maestro Maher Khan makes comeback after 14 years

Popular rock band Nemesis celebrated its 25-year journey with a special solo concert titled “Eto Diner Poreo Je”, organised by Dhaka Broadcast and Carpe Diem at InterContinental Dhaka yesterday evening (May 22).

The concert brought together fans for a nostalgic musical evening filled with the band’s classic hits and memories from the past two decades.

One of the major attractions of the event was the performance by Nemesis’ former guitarist, maestro Maher Khan, who returned to the stage for the celebration. 

During the concert, the band performed a mix of old and new songs while also sharing stories behind some of their memorable tracks.

Nemesis began its journey in 1999 and was officially formed in 2000. The band gained popularity with its debut album “Onneshon” in 2006 and later released several successful albums including “Tritio Jatra”, “Gonojowar”, and “VIP”.
