James set to perform across Europe this summer

Legendary Bangladeshi rock musician James is set to return to the international stage with an extensive European tour spanning nearly two months.

Although the Nagar Baul frontman had previously announced plans for a European tour, the full schedule was recently revealed through his official Facebook page, generating excitement among fans at home and abroad.

According to the itinerary, the tour will begin in London on July 25 before heading to Portugal on July 26. James will then perform in Cyprus on August 9, Rome on August 16, Venice on August 22, and conclude the tour in Sweden on September 5.

Organisers expect the concert series to attract Bangla music enthusiasts from across Europe. The tour follows a successful run of performances in the United States, where James and his band played to expatriate Bangladeshi audiences.

Speaking about the upcoming shows, James’s spokesperson, Rubaiyat Thakur Robin, said preparations are already underway.

“This is a tour spanning almost two months. We previously had a successful tour in the United States, and we are hopeful that the European tour will be equally memorable,” he said.

Robin added that ticket sales are already underway and that members of the Bangladeshi diaspora are eagerly awaiting the concerts.

Over a career spanning several decades, James has established himself as one of the most influential figures in Bangladeshi rock music. His distinctive voice, extensive catalogue of hits, and commanding stage presence have earned him a devoted fan base across generations.

The upcoming tour is expected to bring together Bangla music lovers from across Europe, many of whom have long awaited the opportunity to see the rock icon perform live.
