Bangladeshi musician and songwriter Nafeez Al Amin is set to release a new EP titled “Beshi Joss”, a four-track project that brings together years of songwriting and collaborations with musicians from Bangladesh and abroad.

Recorded entirely in his home studio, the EP features all instruments, including acoustic drums, tracked in-house. According to Nafeez, the project represents three months of intensive work, although some of the compositions date back as far as 2004.

The EP includes collaborations with several notable artists, including Samir Hafiz of the bands Warfaze and Powersurge, Pritom of Owned, Maheyan from Conclusion, Argentine musician Marco, Ken Andrews of American death metal band Obituary and Asif Ranan .

Nafeez wrote the lyrics for all four tracks, with the exception of "Shomoyke Chariye", which was penned by Ashfaque Pallab.

Describing the project, the musician said the EP blends multiple musical styles rather than following a single genre.

"It was three months of blood, sweat and tears, but some of these compositions go back to 2004. The EP contains a mix of different styles of songs, and I plan to release more music in the coming months and eventually turn the project into a full-length album," he said.

Looking ahead, Nafeez also revealed plans to perform live across different states and participate in multicultural festivals and concert events as part of the promotion for the upcoming releases.
