Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5, bringing months of speculation about the couple’s future to an end.

Speaking to Variety India, the actor confirmed the reports, saying, “The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5.”

According to Indian media reports, the couple plans to keep the ceremony intimate, opting for a registered marriage at home attended by family members and a small circle of close friends rather than a large-scale celebrity wedding.

Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, has a professional background in the fashion, beauty and wellness industries and currently resides in Mumbai. She is also a mother to a young son.

Although the public only became aware of their relationship in 2025, Aamir and Gauri’s connection dates back much further. The two first met nearly 25 years ago before losing touch and reconnecting years later. Their renewed friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship.

Aamir publicly introduced Gauri to the media during celebrations marking his 60th birthday in March 2025. Since then, the couple have occasionally appeared together at public events while largely keeping their relationship out of the spotlight.

In previous interviews, the actor has spoken candidly about the happiness he has found with Gauri.

“I am very fortunate that I met Gauri. She is wonderful, and I feel at peace with her,” Aamir said in an earlier interview with Navbharat Times. “We are very happy together. I feel like I am finally complete now.”

The upcoming marriage will be Aamir’s third. He was previously married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. The former couple share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

Aamir later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple announced their separation in 2021 and are parents to their son, Azad Rao Khan.

Despite the end of both marriages, Aamir has consistently maintained cordial relationships with his former spouses and has often spoken about their mutual respect and commitment to co-parenting.

The actor was most recently seen in “Sitaare Zameen Par” and continues to balance his film projects alongside preparations for the upcoming wedding.
