Cox's Bazar to host film screening event featuring 'Bonolata Express'
The Cox's Bazar Film Society is set to organise a two-day film screening programme titled “Cox's Bazar Talkies” on June 5 and 6 at Shaheed Subhash Hall of the Cox's Bazar Public Library.
The event will feature six films over two days, with three screenings scheduled daily between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.
Organisers have announced that tickets will cost Tk 100 for general audiences and Tk 50 for students. A single ticket will grant access to all three screenings scheduled on a given day. Tickets will be available both online and at the venue.
The programme will open on June 5 with “Hawa”, directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon, at 3:00pm.
At 6:00pm, audiences will be able to watch "Rakib Khan: The Projectionist", directed by Shaheen Dil-Riaz. The day's screenings will conclude with “Delupi”, directed by Mohammad Touqir Islam, at 7:00pm.
On June 6, the second day of the event will begin with "Fatima" at 3:00pm. The film is directed by Dhruva Hasan.
A screening of the short film "The Eternal Journey", directed by Fazle Rabbi, will follow at 5:30pm.
The event will conclude with a screening of "Bonolata Express", directed by Tanim Noor, at 6:30pm.
