Nirab Hossain to host celebrity podcast series ‘Nayoker Nayika’

A week-long celebrity podcast series bringing together some of Dhallywood’s leading actresses is set to air this Eid-ul-Azha under the title “Nayoker Nayika”, hosted by actor Nirab Hossain.

The programme will feature candid conversations, behind-the-scenes industry stories, and informal adda sessions with several popular actresses from the Bangladeshi film industry.

The guest lineup includes Purnima, Apu Biswas, Pori Moni, Bobby Haque, Prarthana Fardin Dighi, Tama Mirza, and Keya Payel.

According to the organisers, “Nayoker Nayika” has been designed as more than a conventional celebrity chat show, with each episode focusing on personal stories, career journeys, and experiences from behind the camera.

Speaking about the show, Nirab Hossain said the conversations would remain informal and spontaneous.

“This is not like a formal show,” he said. “Through conversations and adda with the guests, many unknown stories will come out.”

The actor added that the programme will also explore the actresses’ personal lives, professional struggles, and working experiences with fellow artistes in the industry.

“Nayoker Nayika” will air daily on GTV from Eid day (May 28) until June 3 at 7:30pm.
