‘Pothohara Mon’ wins viewers’ praise with over 10,000 YouTube comments

Director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz’s latest YouTube film “Pothohara Mon” has struck a chord with audiences, with more than 10,000 viewers sharing their reactions in the comments section since its release.

Viewers have praised the film’s story, dialogue and performances, with many highlighting its emotional portrayal of love, family relationships and the bond between a father and his child. Zahid Hasan’s performance as the father has received particular acclaim.

Released on the Cinemawala YouTube channel on July 31, “Pothohara Mon” has also posted impressive viewership numbers. According to Raj, the film crossed one million views in just five hours and 53 minutes. It went on to reach four million views within 24 hours, while the total climbed to six million in its first three days.

The project marks Zahid Hasan’s first collaboration with Raz in eight years.

Alongside Zahid Hasan, the cast includes Khairul Basar, Tanjim Saiyara Totini, Monira Akter Mithu, Deepa Khandakar, Dr Ejajul Islam, Tushar Mamun, and Akbar Hossain.

The story was written by Zakia Sultana Trisha, while the screenplay was penned by Asad Zaman and Raz.

The film also features the original song “Paap”, sung by Arfin Rumey. The track is composed and arranged by Shahriar Marcel, with lyrics by Mahbub Rahman.
