Star Cineplex brings four new Hollywood films to the big screen
Star Cineplex is expanding its line-up this week with the release of four new Hollywood titles, offering audiences a mix of horror, psychological thriller, time-travel adventure and a 3D concert film featuring global pop star Billie Eilish.
“Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft – The Tour”
The 3D concert film captures highlights from Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft – The Tour”, which ran from September 2024 to November 2025. Alongside performances from the tour, the film also features behind-the-scenes moments from life on the road. It is produced and directed by James Cameron and Billie Eilish.
“Evil Dead Burn”
The sixth instalment in the “Evil Dead” franchise and a sequel to “Evil Dead Rise”, “Evil Dead Burn” is directed by Sébastien Vaniček and stars Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan and Luciane Buchanan.
The story follows Alice, who visits her late husband’s family in search of peace after his death in a road accident. Her visit soon turns into a nightmare as members of the household become possessed by demonic forces, forcing her into a desperate fight for survival.
“Passenger”
Directed by Norwegian filmmaker André Øvredal, “Passenger” centers on a young couple whose journey takes a terrifying turn after they stop to help at the scene of a horrific highway accident. As they continue their trip, they realise a sinister supernatural presence has followed them into their car, transforming their road trip into a chilling ordeal.
“Time Hoppers: The Silk Road”
The animated adventure “Time Hoppers: The Silk Road” celebrates the golden age of science and culture across the Middle East and Asia.
Set in Vancouver in 2050, the film follows four gifted children who travel back in time to the historic Silk Road. There, they confront a cunning alchemist determined to erase the scientific achievements of the era and alter the future. The young heroes embark on a race against time to stop his plan.
