Amjad Hossain was a film institute by himself: Ferdous

Prominent actor Ferdous Ahmed worked with Amjad Hossain on 3 films and they were "Kal Shokale", "Praner Manush", "Golapi Ekhon Bilatey".  Both of them shared a great bond and the "Hothat Brishti" actor believes him to be his idol and teacher when it comes to acting.

On his third death anniversary, Ferdous Ahmed remembers the legend, and how he is akin to a film institute.

"Amjad Hossain was a film institute by himself. We don't have much acting institution in our country but whatever I have learned about acting its all thanks to him. He was truly my teacher and mentor in the entertainment industry," stated the actor.

"Amjad Hossain made his presence felt both as an actor and a filmmaker. During the shooting of his film 'Praner Manush', he gave Shabnur and I, guidelines on how to enhance our character. He taught us how to express emotions through our eyes. He would actually start to tear up during a crying sequence. He would become a completely different person while enacting emotional scenes and I am glad I got to see that part upfront during the shooting," said Ferdous.

Ferdous and Amjad Hossain became close friends during the shooting of his film in London.

"We had to go to London for shooting "Golapi Ekhon Bilatey" where we shared a lot of memories. At one point, we literally became friends during the shooting. He might not be here with us, but his memories is still fresh in my heart," added the actor.
