A ‘Hoichoi’ filled evening, 6 new original unveiled

'Hoichoi' organised a fun-filled event titled 'Hoichoi Meet 2022' with the presence of notable actors, directors, creators, producers, partners, industry stalwarts, and eminent personalities on January 6.

The star-studded event showcased popular faces such as Sabila Nur, Orsha, Zakia Bari Mamo, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Shohel Rana, all coming together for the glamourous event.

Hoichoi announced a fresh slate of 6 new Originals – "Dour", "Kaiser", "Bodh", "Sabrina", "Karagar", and the 2nd season of "Mohanagar".

The OTT platform will showcase works by prominent creators like Raihan Khan, Tanim Noor, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Ashfaque Nipun, and Syed Ahmed Shawki.

Here is the synopsis of the upcoming programmes-

Dour- Directed by Raihan Khan," Dour" explores the nail-biting adventures of a business man who finds himself into a troublesome fix.

Kaiser- Created by Tanim Noor, Kaiser is about a homicide detective of the same name, who is addicted to video games which leads to complications in his personal and professional space.

Bodh- Amitabh Reza Chowdhury's new series revolves around a judge and the awakening of his conscience after his retirement.

Sabrina- After his super hit series "Mohanagar", Ashfaque Nipun is bringing 'Sabrina', a realistic take on the oppression of women irrespective of their social strata. The series will showcase a spine-chilling story of two women.

Karagar- A jailhouse has been shut for years after a series of suicides. One morning, the jailer finds a prisoner inside who claims he has been there for 200 years. A thrilling narrative by Syed Ahmed Shawki, after the success of his show "Taqdeer."

Mohanagar 2- Coming back from the vicinities of corruption and a suspension later, OC Harun is ready to take things to the next level in the second instalment of "Mohanagar 2".
