Kazi Hayat in ICU

National Film Award-winning director Kazi Hayat is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Dhaka.

Earlier on, he was hospitalised as doctors suspected a heart blockage. He had returned home a few days ago.

Zayed Khan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Film Artistes Association, confirmed the matter to The Daily Star.

"Kazi Hayat was hospitalised after he started having chest pain around 2:30 am this morning. We are trying to keep up with all his health updates," he told The Daily Star.

Kazi Hayat, also a noted writer, producer, and actor, recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Bangladesh Film Directors Association at the BFDC.
