Nusraat Faria starts shooting for last slot of ‘Bangabandhu’

Nusraat Faria has started shooting for the last slot of "Bangabandhu", the biopic on the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Directed by Shyam Benegal, Nusraat plays the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Bangladesh-India joint production.

The actress has started shooting for her scenes in Dhaka since Friday. The last phase of the shooting of the Bangabandhu biopic started on November 21, across various locations in Dhaka.

Nusraat Faria completed her shot in India. The crew shot in several areas of Mumbai, including the famous Film City.

The film is expected to release in March 2022.

Arifin Shuvoo will be portraying the role of Bangabandhu in this film, alongside Nusrat Imrose Tisha as Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa, among many other noted actors.
