Sohel Rana hospitalised with Covid-19

Veteran actor and freedom fighter Sohel Rana has been hospitalised with Covid-19.

The actor's brother Masum Parvez Rubel confirmed the news to The Daily Star.

"Sohel Rana bhai is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital for 3 days after being diagnosed with Covid-19. Please do pray for him," said actor Rubel.

The "Masud Rana" actor was staying at his house prior to the outbreak of the pandemic. He was supposed to start shooting for a film, but somehow it didn't worked out.

He produced Bangladesh's first Liberation War movie "Ora Egaro Jon" and was honoured with the lifetime achievement award from the National Film Awards, among other accolades.
