Squid Game creator in talks with Netflix for Season 3

Popular streaming site Netflix has plans to turn its international hit "Squid Game" into an all-out franchise.

"Squid Game" creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said that he is in talks with Netflix about Season 2 as well as Season 3, as per reports.

The writer also confirmed that the second season would once again focus on the character of Gi-Hun (played by Lee-Jung Jae).

Squid Game tells the story of cash-strapped individuals competing in children's games for a chance to win a large sum of money but for the losers, death is the only option.
