Trailer of Adnan Al Rajeev’s ‘YouTumor’ out now

The trailer of the upcoming Chorki original film "YouTumor" was released earlier today. One of the most anticipated releases of this year, "YouTumor" is directed by Adnan Al Rajeev.

The film, produced by Chorki and Runout Films, features Pritom Hasan and Ziaul Hoque Polash in the lead roles. It is about two friends, Don and Monty, who turn out to be YouTubers. The trailer highlights the way that these characters lead their lives and deal with their fame, while trying to come out of certain challenges and unexpected problems.

Popular YouTuber and actor Salman Muqtadir and food vlogger Iftekhar Rafsan, better known as Rafsan the Chotobhai, were also seen in the trailer.

"There are online content creators who handle fame quite gracefully with their consistent, creative ideas. Some, on the other hand, enjoy random fame and clicks, creating a lot of hoopla and excitement for no reason. They quickly reach a wide audience, but are forgotten the next day. If one does not have the intelligence and talent to combine their fame with, they will have a tough time maintaining their impact. 'YouTumor' touches upon such relevant issues," Adnan Al Rajeev had said in an earlier interview with The Daily Star. "A 'tumor' refers to an unnecessary, extra flesh. In line with that thought, I came up with the term 'YouTumor' for these 'extra' characters in the world of the internet. That being said, we made this film to highlight some social issues, and at the same time, make people laugh."

"YouTumor" will be released on Chorki on Eid-Ul-Azha.
