Safety alert triggered aboard ISS after leak detected

A leak on the International Space Station triggered a brief safety alert today as Russian astronauts prepared to start repairs, before NASA announced that the operation was over.

"NASA has instructed the crew members inside the Dragon spacecraft to end the safe haven procedures and return to planned operations aboard the International Space Station," NASA spokeswoman Bethany Stevens said on social media.

Astronauts had started safety procedures while Russia's crew on the ISS planned to begin repairs that were then postponed.
