Poultry owner killed
A poultry farm owner was stabbed to death by criminals at Bakra Mathsia village under Jhikorgachha upazila Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Anwarul Ali, 47, son of late Hazrat Ali of the village. The wife of the victim alleged that they were sleeping at their house keeping the door open because of hot weather. Suddenly two criminals attacked Anwarul, stabbed him indiscriminately and fled the scene. Sub Inspector Abdul Al Mamun, incharge of Bakara police camp said, on information police rushed to the spot and sent Anwarul to Jessore Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
