A Dhaka court today placed former lawmaker of Manikgaj-2 constituency and singer Momtaz Begum on a four-day remand in a case filed over the murder of one Md Sagor in Dhaka’s Mirpur area during quota reform protests on July 19 last year.

The court condoned her 587 days' delay for filing the appeal in the case.
