5 die of dengue, 1,110 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least five dengue patients died, and 1,110 others were hospitalised, highest in a single day, in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the deaths, two each were reported in Dhaka North City Corporation and Mymensingh division and one in Barishal division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 107 and cases to 3,8280.

Currently, 2,740 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
