Israel categorically rejected the UN findings and slammed the report as "distorted and false".

The United States has already rejected that approach multiple times, most recently in June when they used a veto to back their ally Israel.

Dozens of Palestinians were killed yesterday as Israeli troops and tanks pushed deeper into Gaza City on the second day of a ground offensive widely condemned by world powers.
