Previously, a special screening of the movie took place at the National Museum of Indian Cinema's theater in Mumbai, where Bollywood celebrities along with Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah praised the actor for his performance.

"Mujib: The Making of a Nation" has set a record in India by receiving a widespread release (yesterday) in 503 theaters, with the highest number of shows for a Bangladeshi film in the first week.

During the premiere, Shyam Benegal expressed, "To be honest, I've immensely enjoyed working on this film. It's a great honor that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Mujib's daughter, Sheikh Hasina, enjoyed the movie."

The film "Mujib: The Making of a Nation", based on the biography of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, directed by renowned director Shyam Benegal will be released in India on October 27. On that occasion, a special screening of the film was arranged in both Bengali and Hindi languages ​​at the National Museum of India in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The week-long free screening of the film, "Mujib: The Making of A Nation" commenced with an inaugural show at 3 pm at Madhuban Cinema Hall, Bogura, yesterday.

The biopic of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman titled, “Mujib: The Making of a Nation”, jointly produced by the governments of Bangladesh and India, was released in theatres across the country on October 13. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself has invited everyone to watch the movie starring Arifin Shuvoo.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her strong wish for the nation to witness the biographical film, "Mujib: The Making of A Nation" and she herself attended the premiere alongside the lead actor, Arifin Shuvoo.

Renowned actors Chanchal Chowdhury and Fazlur Rahman Babu, who are also a part of the biopic’s cast, also praised Arifin Shuvoo’s efforts to portray Bangabandhu, at the press conference for “Mujib: The Making of a Nation” upcoming theatrical release, held yesterday at Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka.

Arifin Shuvoo responded to a question about how well he portrayed the role of Bangabandhu by saying, "I'm not the one who should judge that; the audience will. What I can say is that the film's director, Shyam Benegal, is quite satisfied with my performance. Additionally, Bangabandhu's family has seen the film and expressed their satisfaction. They have acknowledged the effort and hard work we put into it."

The music for "Ochin Majhi" is composed by Shantanu Moitra, with lyrics penned by Zahid Akbar and vocals provided by Rathijit Bhattacharjee. The lyrics originated from Dhaka and the final song was produced in Mumbai studios.

The movie “Mujib: The Making of a Nation”, based on the biography of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has been the talk of the town for a few years now. The work around it began about four years ago in 2019. The movie is now finally on the threshold of being released.

In January 2021, the first phase of shooting for the film took place in Mumbai's Dada Saheb Phalke Studio. The film has the collaborative direction of Dayal Nihalani, with a screenplay by Atul Tiwari and Shama Zaidi. Nitesh Rai is responsible for the artistic direction, and costume design is handled by Pia Benegal, the daughter of Shyam Benegal.
