Bangladesh head coach Peter Butler on Wednesday announced a 23-member final squad for the upcoming SAFF Women’s Championship, set to be held in India from May 25, including two new faces -- defender Arpita Biswas and midfielder Momita Khatun -- while leaving out several experienced players.

Bangladesh are upbeat about defending their title of SAFF Women’s Championship as they square off against Nepal in today’s final at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu today, with the match kicking off at 6:45pm Bangladesh time.

Ahead of today's all important Group A decider in the SAFF Women's Championship against Nepal, the Bangladesh team underwent a recovery session at the calm and quiet Armed Police Force ground in Biratnagar, Nepal yesterday.

Bangladesh will begin their bid to play in back-to-back finals of the SAFF Women's Championship when they take on Bhutan in a Group A encounter at the Sahid Rangashala in Biratnagar, Nepal today.
