Mosque suicide blast foiled in Saudi Arabia

Saudi police shot dead a would-be suicide bomber targeting a mosque in the Shia-dominated district of Qatif, the interior ministry said yesterday. The attempted attack on Mustafa Mosque in Qatif happened around sunset prayers on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement.
