Palestinian throws rock, receives bullet in return

A Palestinian who threw a rock at Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank yesterday was shot dead by a soldier, the Israeli army said in a statement. It said a soldier was hit on the head while on a search and arrest operation in a village of Ramallah. The soldier then fired at the Palestinian who threw it and injuring him. He later died, it added.
