Contraband goods seized in Ctg port

Bangladesh Coast Guard seized contraband electrical goods worth about Tk 9 lakh from a merchant ship in the Chittagong port on Wednesday.

While the guards of East Zone were patrolling the outer-anchorage, they found the goods after searching the ship 'Banglar Moni.'

The items including 59 colour TV sets, 27 VCDs and RCDs were handed over to Chittagong customs.
