3 killed, 32 injured in Ctg road accident

A Comilla-bound Chandina Express bus smashed head on into another Chittagong-bound Hanif Enterprise inter-city bus at around 6:30am near Fouzdarhat Cadet College on Dhaka-Chittagong highway, sources said.

Minzi, 10, son of Abul Kashem, Hanufa Begum, 23, and Jasim Uddin, 30, died on the spot, sources added.

At least 32 other commuters were wounded in the accident. Eleven seriously injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Of them, Hosne Ara was in critical condition.

Both drivers fled and dodged arrest, police said.
