Mounting pressure on Modi to quit
"The momentum that has gathered against Modi is not going to die down and his exit is certain," Opposition leader Amarsinh Chaudhary said while speaking on the budgetary demands of General Administration Department (GAD).
"Time takes its on course," the development that have taken place for last few days inside the House and outside are clear indication of what is in the offing, he said.
"Modi's condition at present is like Mahabharat's Arjun a great warrior, who had also to face defeat at the hands of a hunter despite all his skills," he said while referring to last night (May 27, 2004) political developments during the birthday party of Rajya Sabha Member A K Patel demanding his removal.
Continuing the tirade, Chaudhary said that even Congress had warned Modi several times that he should tread cautiously without being dictatorial but it always fell on deaf ears.
