Bangladesh’s stock market remained buoyant for the second consecutive day yesterday, sending the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) to a record high, as investors were upbeat that liquidity flow in the market  would  continue owing to the central bank’s expansionary monetary policy.

The stock market bounced back yesterday as institutional investors took to fattening up their portfolios.

Asia’s stocks fell to a fresh seven-month troughs on Tuesday led by a third straight session of heavy selling by the Chinese internet giant, while bond and money markets remained in tight range ahead of Federal Reserve policy meeting.
