All three Bangladesh stock indexes closed at record highs yesterday after a rocky week when investors were fretting over the Delta coronavirus variant while Bangladesh Bank launched an expansionary monetary policy for the current fiscal year.

Bangladesh’s stock market continued to rise for the last six consecutive trading days thanks to increased participation of investors.

The country’s robust economic growth has not been reflected in the capital market, said Ahmad Kaikaus, the principal secretary of the prime minister.
