NRB Islamic Life Insurance holds 5th AGM

NRB Islamic Life Insurance PLC today organised its 5th annual general meeting (AGM) at the life insurance company’s head office in Dhaka.

Kibria Golam Mohamad, chairman of the life insurer, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

A large number of shareholders attended the meeting from across the country. They approved the main agendas and issues placed before the meeting.

They also approved the annual report for 2025 during the meeting.

One-third of the existing directors retired after which shareholders re-elected them. They also appointed auditors for 2026.

Md Shah Jamal Howlader, chief executive officer, presented the company’s future plans.

The shareholders expressed their satisfaction with the company’s business operations and overall achievements and conveyed their appreciation to the marketing and management teams.
