Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur, new CEO of United Insurance

Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur has been appointed chief executive officer of United Insurance Company Limited with effect from May 3 this year.

He began his career in the insurance industry in 1989 with Eastern Insurance Company Limited, according to a press release.

Before joining United Insurance, Manjur served as managing director and chief executive officer of Pragati Insurance PLC and as general manager of Pioneer Insurance Company Limited.

Over his 37-year career in the insurance sector, he has developed expertise in underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and a wide range of insurance products.

Manjur holds a master's degree in business administration and the prestigious ACII qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK, as well as the ABIA designation from the Bangladesh Insurance Academy.

He is also an associate member of the Bangladesh Insurance Academy.
